Service Management Project Manager (SMO Team)To our customer we are seeking a skilled Project Manager with strong experience in service management to join the customers Service Management Office (SMO) team.
This role begins with a pre-study phase lasting approximately four months, aimed at preparing the groundwork for a long-term initiative to establish a unified service desk across the Nordics. Currently, separate service desk suppliers operate in each market.
Pre-Study Phase Objectives
The primary focus during this phase will be a comprehensive situational analysis, including the following key components:
- Process Mapping: Assessing and documenting current workflows.
- Data Gathering and Presentation: Collecting relevant data and presenting findings.
- Cost Overview: Developing a financial analysis of the current and proposed setups.
- Risk Matrix: Conducting workshops and analyses with stakeholders to identify and evaluate risks.
- Stakeholder Analysis: Identifying and understanding key stakeholders and their influence.
- External Benchmarking: Comparing against industry standards and best practices.
- Business Case Development: Crafting one or more business cases for decision-making.
- Competence GAP Analysis: Identifying required skills and current gaps.
- Communication Plan: Establishing a framework for effective project communication.
- Feedback Gathering: Ensuring stakeholder input and engagement.
Implementation Phase (Future Focus)
Should the project proceed to implementation, the emphasis will shift to organizational alignment and transformation management, including:
- Driving organizational “buy-in” and securing stakeholder support.
- Managing complex political landscapes.
- Facilitating transformation and change management processes.

KOMPETENSKRAV
- Experience in Service Management: Demonstrated expertise in managing service-related projects and processes preferably projects similar to the assignment as described.
- Strong Communication Skills: The role requires significant interaction with key stakeholders, including executives, and navigating a politically complex environment.
- Transformation Management: Proven ability to lead organizational change and secure cross-functional alignment.
- Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Proven capable of conducting in-depth situational analyses and developing actionable business cases.
- ITIL certification v.3 or V.4 (mandatory)JaStrong Project management experience (documented certification)
